Living with Tinnitus
We know that most tinnitus, or a sensation of ringing in the ears, is caused by traumatic ear trauma. However, we are increasingly seeing reports of elderly individuals, who haven’t had a traumatic experience, suffering from tinnitus. What we’ve discovered is a relationship between a Vitamin B12 deficiency and incidence of tinnitus, which means that acid-blocking drugs, or PPIs, may be to blame. Here’s why.
