In July 2015 I found “Grain Brain” in a bookshop. It turned out to be much-needed validation of my gluten-free diet, which lead to better thyroid function and reduced severity of allergies for me, and healed digestive issues for my husband. But Grain Brain was also eye-opening for some of the new ideas it introduced, like the fact that a full English breakfast (without bread, of course!) is actually quite healthy!
