Neurogenesis and Alzheimer’s Disease

It seems intuitive to consider neurogenesis, the growth of new brain cells, to be something that would be good for the brain. Perhaps it’s a bit more of a stretch to think that neurogenesis might be a good thing to have happening onboard as a hedge against Alzheimer’s disease. No question, this has been part of my messaging for the past several years. Now, a new study makes this connection even more substantiated.
